“ This is probably the best restaurant in JC. The vibes are immaculate! The drinks are amazing and unique, and the food is AMAZING. They have small, medium and large plates and some are very unique, but they also have something for picky eaters (burger, chicken sandwich, etc). Some of the menu rotates but the staples stay. I highly recommend eating here. Reservations highly recommended but can get seats at the bar as well. ”

While many people in JC have stated this is a good place for anniversaries, birthdays, etc. I don't find it to be a romantic or quiet place. The room is loud and busy with tables close together. But overall it is a good local experience. ”
“ This is our favorite place! It’s always delicious, the bartender Brandon is great, and the whole place is pretty low key, but so super tasty! I’ve heard they weren’t great when they first opened a couple years ago, but I can confidently say from experience that they have completely turned it around and provide a wonderfully delicious variety of food and drinks! If past stories/experiences are keeping you from going, give them another chance. You won’t be disappointed! You really can’t ever go wrong with any of their staple items, but we have always been very impressed with the seasonal items as well! It is always worth it when you get quality! We would highly recommend- always! ”
“ Definitely one of the best places to eat in JC— if not the best. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was excellent. Brandon, our bartender was fantastic. He was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu (drinks and food). Their handout fries are perfect. Not soggy at all. Crispy and delicious. The chicken sandwich is seasoned to perfection. The corn ribs and the fried green tomatoes are perfection. The fired green tomatoes are so crispy it’s almost criminal. The dry rub corn ribs are seasoned so well. I don’t think you’d be able to find bad food on this menu. 10/10 definitely recommend. ”

Exceeded all of my expectations. The food, the service, the atmosphere.....it was all top notch. I look so forward to recommending this place to locals and tourists alike. I was blown away! I had family come in from over 2200 miles away, we had ONE night to eat out together and I chose Timber. I am SO glad I did! Thank you for your incomparable hospitality and a menu that kept us ordering one item after another! ”
“ I've been dining at Timber for many years...back when you had to scan a QR code to see the menu and reservations weren't required. I'm happy to see they've continued to thrive despite covid and road work that never seems to end, but I miss those days. This time around my family & I ordered the Hot Honey Popcorn Chicken which paired wonderfully with the House-made Ricotta, Broccolini & Sourdough Bread. The Smash Burger with Handcut Fries never disappoints! In my opinion, it's the best tasting burger in JC. We didn't have any cocktails this time but when we have, they've been unique, tasty and definitely boozy. To finish off the night, we had my favorite; Housemade Smoked Vanilla Ice Cream...HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My son had the Dark Chocolate Panna Cotta and said it was light & yummy. All of us looked forward to this night & it was worth the wait The food is always consistently fresh & delicious, our server was attentive and informative & we love the restaurant vibe. ”
